I spent several months as a remote intern for one of the hippest indie publishers, Write Bloody Publishing. My first assignment was a poster for a book launch party. From there I designed posters for two spoken word poetry tours.
It's always fun working with creative, fun organizations, but this was funner. That's right I said funner. Working with people who have such a quirky outlook on their immense talent, brought a new edge to my work.
Even better I got an opportunity to work with a good friend and illustrator/stand-up comedian, Jeremy Nguyen who drew up the hot chick on "The Last Nerve" poster. You can read about it on his blog and check out behind-the-scenes pic of some of his early sketches.
